Castle Swimmer : Volume 4 contains episodes 66-86 of the Webtoon.

Kappa and Siren continue on their separate paths in hope of completing their journeys. Kappa is accompanied by Pim and Pagoon. They keep going forward in hopes to finding a way to end his curse. Their path takes them to a dark, deep, mysterious part of the ocean where Siren faces creatures that show you your deepest fears, and he uncovers some truths about his curse that brings a new motivation to him finding a way to break it once and for all.

Kappa is on his journey with the “witches” of the Octalia to battle the demigod crab. While they journey together they teach him how to grow his own strength and resolve – learning that he is more than what every one expects him to be and more than a tool to get their own happy endings.

The art continues to be absolutely beautiful. I love how the artist uses the colors not only to convey the location but the emotion of the characters. We dive into the backstories a bit more and harder topics are addressed, during these times the artist and the writer convey these emotions and topics beautiful through the written word and their artwork. This volume gives the characters more emotional depth and deepens their connections to their journeys and to each other.

I cant wait to see where the next volume takes us. Siren seems to have his mind and heart set and a renewed sense of purpose. I’m hoping to see Kappa and Siren reunite soon!
