This is a beautifully illustrated graphic novel of one of my favorite cozy fantasy novels, Legends & Lattes.
Seeing this story come to life will warm your heart; From brewing the first cup, finding new friends, and finding where you truly belong. The illustrations are absolutely stunning; the illustrators did an absolutely fantastic job at portraying not only the characters themselves but all of the little things that bring the whole world together.

Viv has a life of adventure, however adventure brought violence and bloodshed. She is just tired and looking for a new and quiet life away from it all.
On her travels Viv discovered coffee and fell in love. Not just with the drink but the experience and the atmosphere that a coffee shop brings. After deciding she wants to hang up her sword she dreams of opening a coffee shop. The only thing standing in her way is most folks don’t know what coffee is. Not to mention some people from her past and a few from her present may not be so keen with her no longer being the sword wielding bounty hunting adventurer everyone makes her out to be.

Along her journey of being the towns first barista, she realizes that she has quite a big task ahead of her and she can’t do it all on her own.
From building her shop to baking tasty pastry the friends along the way become her chosen family, and she comes to realize when things start going sideways she isn’t alone.

This is top notch storytelling that pulls at your heart strings and has you smiling and rooting for Viv from the very start.
