Nikki St. Crowe

Winnie Darling has started to finally settle into her new life in Neverland. After moving around her whole life and never truly feeling at home, she finally feels like she belongs somewhere. Although, coming to grips with being the Fae Queen, is still a little much for her.

While Winnie is battling internal turmoil on if she is truly good enough to be Queen. She gets news of her mother’s disappearance, bringing her right back to the place she didn’t want to return. Being back brings back memories and feelings she thought she had long locked away.

Not only is she emotionally feeling vulnerable, she’s magically vulnerable. The moment they stepped in the mortal realm Winnie, Pan, Vane, and the Twins all lost their magic.

Now to deal with their new threat, Witch Killers. Not to mention they run into the most lethal witch killer known in the realms – Hansel. With his arrival, Winnie and the guys are skeptical on him offering his help. Pan has an inkling he’s hiding something and he’s absolutely right.

I loved this addition to the Vicious lost boy’s series. Seeing Winnie work through some of her past trauma was much needed for her and will help her progress in her life on Neverland. Facing some of the people from her past but having the boys by her side shows how she has accepted who she is and that she is not only loved but respected.

The addition of Hansel and Grettel was a nice surprise. I have my theories on where Hansel may fit into other realms (One theory is we may see him in the Great and Terrible Land series) and hope that we get a little more of his back story as well as see where his future goes.

I cant wait to see what Nikki St. Crowe has in store for these characters next.
