Cocoa is a girl with a dream to one day become a witch. However, everyone knows you have to be born with magic. Even though Coco loves magic , she was not born with the gift. She has come to terms that she will live an unmagical life and appreciate the beauty of magic from afar.

One day a man named Qifery happens into her mothers shop and she quickly finds out that what everyone knows, or think they know isnt quite the truth.

Cocoa tries to mimic what she sees Qifery do to create her own magic. Although she has some small success at first, a disaster that changes the course of her life occurs.

The first three volumes we get to meet Coco, Quifery, and some of the apprentices. We learn that the magical community has many secrets. One of these secrets has been in the background of Cocos life for a very long time, pushing her towards a fate she may not quite be ready for.

Coco is determined to set things right but its not going to be easy.

The art is absolutely beautiful. The story is both filled with emotion and action. The pacing is just right, you are getting all the info you need, getting the right setting and feel for whats going on without to much filler or down time. Each character is well crafted with their own personality and look, nothing feels like it was copied and pasted.

Im so far very pleased with this manga. Once i finish up reading though what is covered in season one I will absolutely be watching the anime as well.
