To Dance the Moon and Stars

Myra is an 18 year old priestess , who is training to become high priestess from her grandmother. She loves her kingdom and her people, but she also loves to dance. Loving dance wouldn’t be a problem except, in her kingdom dance is forbidden. However, dance is one of the things that truly makes her happy, that and the Prince.

As the time grows closer for her to take her grandmothers place as high priestess, she starts to worry if her heart is truly in the right place. How can she be the priestess for the god who banned dancing?

The kingdom is welcoming visitors to discuss a treaty. The king and her grandmother are depending on her to receive the wisdom and a vision from their god Alrun. The Prince has returned. Myra feels overwhelmed and like she is letting down those she cares for most. To make things worse, there are dark forces lurking in the shadows.

To Dance the Moon and Stars is a heart felt romantasy that really does focus on the duty to ones people, and how that impacts Myra and the ones she cares for. She also learns how believing in herself, her heart, and the connection she has to the gods is also a way for her to serve her people. The love she has for the prince does play a part in the plot and overall story , however its her love for dancing and what she believes to be true is the main driver of the plot and character development.

This is a beautifully illustrated graphic novel that brings you right in to the story and warms your heart.
