Instead of letting her heart break on her own, she decides to become independent and create her own happiness.

Volume one is the perfect set up for this story. You can see why Nicole feels as she does. You also get to see her start to shine as she starts to become more independent and do the things she enjoys even if it is alone. I do absolutely love the last 1/3 of this volume where you see that there may be some major miscommunication and misunderstandings. The side characters were all fantastic as well.

I really did enjoy this all the way through and it was such a fun read. I cant wait to read more in volume two!
