Arcana: The Cursed Fate

Sam Prentice-Jones

Arcana: The Cursed Fate is book two in the Arcana duology.

After uncovering secrets not only about the Arcana but about their families and themselves, the group of friends is determined to break the curse and free themselves to live a future of their own. After they confront the Majors , they come to find out that a group of witches known as the New Moon Order was responsible for casting the curse. They also find out some interesting information regarding the Majors, that could change everything.

They now have the Majors on their side , the next step is to undo the curse. This part brings us to a place they didn’t see themselves going to, a place that Eli holds close. They now must face their ghosts, they have each other, but will that be enough?

Arcana continues to be full of inclusion and diversity that is much needed in media. James, Daphne, Koko, Sunny, and Eli are a group of friends that you can truly see cares for one another and is accepting of who they are. The story also touches on mental health, in a way where its not the main focus but its addressed well and in simple ways that many people can learn from.

The story comes to a beautiful closing worthy of the journey they have all been on together.
