This is a choose your own destiny game where every choice you make and how long you take to make the choice will change the outcome. The game takes place over a four day period. You play as different characters. All connected to the mystery of the Origami killer. Each character follows their own leads and for their own reasons.
This is the second time I played through this game. The first was around the time of release 15 years ago. I wanted to revisit this when I saw it available on steam deck. The nostalgia wrapped me back into this game. I really do enjoy that you can replay this game multiple times and get a different view of the story line and a different ending. I cant recall the first playthrough thoroughly, However this playthrough I really enjoyed myself.
This is a phycological thriller by nature it has mature content and violence. I would read through the synopsis fully before diving in as there is subjects such as the murder of children that may be triggering to some payers.
This was compatible on my stem deck but as it is an older game the graphics aren’t what you expect games of 2025 to look like, so be mindful when playing. Some of the actions were a tad sensitive when using the joy sticks , such as opening doors and precise movements. some of those may take trying a few times to get done correctly.
I really did enjoy the replay through and Ill be checking out other games from Quantic Dream.
