This is not the first nor the last time I will rave about how much I truly enjoy this story.
In this volume Lumine and Kody barley get away from the witch hunters. During this ordeal we find out Lumine is more than just a meager little werepup. With Lumine coming into his own and Kody starting to trust him. Aiden does the only plausible thing, and fires Lumine…stay with me here, I promise you it’s a good thing.
Calla goes back to school and tells everyone to now leave Kody alone, so when he returns, he’s just ignored. Except by Lumine, Calla and an old friend trying to make amends.
All seems to be going well, until more dark secrets start to rear their heads. Will Kody and Lumine be able to face what comes next?
The relationships are growing and developing. The story remains very well written. This volume has some slower parts but after all that happened in volume two, they deserve a little bit of a slowdown. Near the end of this volume, you can tell the action is back to ramping up.
