I went into this very well knowing it was a RPG video game. However, I have had it on my “to be played list” for some time, and have not yet gotten to play through it. That being said, after reading through this I really want to. Im not sure if knowing how the manga ends will ruin the game play or enhance it, we shall see.
I Do love the characters and how they have their own personality and quirks. I really enjoyed the story as a whole. However, I felt like the final fight was rushed, and felt a little one shot one kill done and over. I was really hoping for a more epic battle scene. Where we got to see how they all combine all they have learned and trained for put in to use.
The ending was, well ok. I wasn’t a HUGE fan of how they end the story. I understand why, but unless there are more books to come it felt a tad empty, there felt as if there were connections and growth being made and then it was just, done and over. The ending made me want more, and if that is the intention then it worked really.
The artwork is really well done as well; each character was really drawn with intention and with emotion that really helped convey the feelings of the story.
