Volume one of Tower of God contains episodes 1-11 of the Webtoon in graphic novel format.

This is top tier graphic novel content. I cant recommend this enough.
( I’ve read through all the available novels and started the anime stay tuned for reviews of the other volumes as well as the anime adaptation)

The story is centered around a few main characters however for this first bit we mostly follow Bamm and his team. Bamm enters the tower as an irregular, meaning he was not chosen to come to the tower he got there on his own. Irregulars are thought of as overpowered and dangerous, so they are typically feared and hunted. Bamm does not know the rules of the tower and what is going on inside the tower politically. What this story does well is you enter the tower with the same information Bamm does, and you learn as he learns.

All the characters are diverse in aesthetics, personality and skills. Good and bad are a grey area and muddled for many as they are all trying to climb and trying to survive. Bamm is the epidemy of innocence and you can see it in his very eyes he does not want to bring harm he just wants to climb the tower.

We get through the first trials with Bamm entering the tower in book one and meet some interesting characters. Volume one ends on a big cliffhanger , but I promise its worth it.
