TIN

Amber R Duell and Candace Robinson

Tin is the first book in the faeries in oz series.

Tin is an infamous assassin for hire cursed with a heart of stone. Hes known through the land of oz for once being a hero, and now he is a ruthless and merciless killer. Tin gets offered a large pay day by an old friend, lion. Who is his target, non other than their old friend Dorothy. Lion wants her head, literally.

Tin goes to retrieve Dorothy from Kansas. To find a girl more than willing to hop back in a portal back to OZ. This may be easier than he thought.

Tin isn’t the only one who has changed in the last few years, The Dorthey he brings to OZ isn’t the small child he sent back to Kansas. As they travel together after about a decade apart , they rekindle an old friendship and learn that their lives apart all these years weren’t easy for either of them.

When I started this I read it on a whim and found it on KU, I was up with a sick kiddo and needed something to help keep me awake. LET ME TELL YOU WHAT, once the sick kiddo fell asleep I stayed up and read the whole darn thing in one night.

The dual POV was done very well. The pacing was fantastic, there wasn’t much filler or fluff. There was great character growth and development. The twists and turns kept me glued to this story.

The romance is great , there is spice so its not a book for kids or teens.

The trance this book had me in was unreal. I started Crow ( book two the very next day)

This book had my attention at the start. I do love a good OZ retelling but this is by far my favorite series. Ill go on and do a review for each book so please be on the look out for those as well.
“You resurrected my heart when I thought it was gone forever, so its fate is yours. Rip it out and burn it to ash if that makes you happy. But know this: no matter how long you allow me to keep it, I will cherish this gift and use it to protect you.”
